It is reported that BYD won this batch of orders in 2020, with a total of 119 units delivered, which is the largest order of pure electric bus in Finland so far, including a variety of products of BYD pure electric bus family, including 12 meter pure electric bus and 18 meter pure electric hinged bus. In addition to the 43 buses delivered this time, the capital Helsinki will welcome the remaining 76 buses at the end of this summer.

Nobina is the largest and most experienced public transport operator in northern Europe. Since 2015, BYD has successively delivered more than 200 pure electric buses to nobina, covering more than 10 cities in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and other countries. Up to now, BYD's pure electric bus has operated more than 25 million kilometers in the whole Nordic region.

The delivery also marks the first commercial operation of BYD's new 15 meter low floor pure electric bus. The vehicle is equipped with a new generation of lithium iron phosphate battery, with advanced battery thermal management system, the energy density of the battery is improved while taking into account the safety performance, and the vehicle has a driving range of up to 400 km under the sort condition. The car is equipped with 50 seats, carrying more than 90 people. Based on the severe cold operation conditions in northern Europe, the interior pre heating function helps the whole vehicle to improve the temperature of the compartment before going on the road, so as to ensure the comfort of the driver and passengers.
